Glasgow Consulting Group came to me with a challenge I see often in B2B professional services: strong expertise, but a brand that didn’t reflect it.

The name felt generic. The positioning lacked focus. The visual identity blended into a crowded consulting landscape.
The solution started with clarity.

We refined the name to Glasgow Research & Consulting, removing unnecessary clutter and sharpening the message. A new strapline – Market Growth Catalyst – articulated the firm’s commercial value. The domain shifted to glasgowinsights.com, aligning brand and purpose.

From there, the focus was differentiation.

Competitive analysis revealed predictable colours, corporate clichés and safe typography across the sector. We deliberately moved away from those patterns.

The final identity system combined:

A distinctive speech-mark inspired icon derived from the letter “g”
A modern serif wordmark to signal gravitas and authority
A bold coral and navy colour palette to stand apart from peer firms
The result is a strategic, memorable brand identity built to elevate perceived credibility and command attention in competitive B2B markets.
