Skylume came to me with a familiar B2B challenge: strong technical expertise in LED lighting solutions, but a brand that didn’t reflect the scale or quality of their work.
Operating across commercial, retail and architectural environments, Skylume delivers integrated lighting systems designed for performance, efficiency and aesthetic impact. Yet their previous identity lacked cohesion and strategic distinction. It didn’t communicate innovation. It didn’t signal authority. And it certainly didn’t position them as a premium commercial lighting partner.
This wasn’t a cosmetic refresh. It required a considered LED lighting brand identity design grounded in positioning.
We clarified the brand’s role in the market: a technically intelligent lighting company combining precision engineering with consultative expertise.
From there, I developed a structured geometric visual language — referencing light, form and architectural space. The identity system was designed to feel engineered rather than decorative. Confident without being aggressive. Modern without chasing trends.
The new brand now supports business development, strengthens perceived value and provides a consistent framework across digital, print and on-site applications.
