Doha Airport Yearbook. The New Doha International Airport was a massive development that was due for completion in 2011 at the time,  but they wanted a coffee table book to share with stakeholders and partners as a communication tool for stakeholders. Many of the buildings were to be water-themed, with waved roofs and desert plants being grown in recycled water – it was all going to look pretty spectacular. BUT; it was just a sandpit when I put this little gem together  – so this corporate book designer had no option to organise a photo-shoot. I had to rely on strong composition with our usual modal grid system, typographic excellence, a hint of Swiss minimalism to counter balance the renderings and stock photos which inevitably had to be used.
