Brand Identity Case Study – Quantity Surveyor

Equals International is a Qatar-based quantity surveyor company offering services to the construction industry.

Based in Qatar and Sri Lanka, Equals needed a Quantity Surveyor corporate identity agency to create an international-level business image to stand out from the crowd in Doha, where there is an incredible amount of construction and an incredible amount of peer competition.

We worked to develop new quantity surveyor branding and define a unique differentiation point among the competition.  Next up was to design all the media and marketing tools across multiple platforms and touch-points – to effectively communicate who Equals International is and what they do for the construction industry.

The logo icon is deceptively simple. It is obviously a capped E for the company name, with the top 2 bars being an ‘equals’ sign (at exactly the same height as the company name ‘EQUALS’. The bottom bar is the ‘i’ of INTERNATIONAL at 90 degrees – again at the same height as the actual word. Deliverables included stationery, a brand guide, a brand pattern, and a website.
