Every relationship starts with a conversation.
The first step for every design project is to discuss the design brief or scope of work. This outlines the project objectives and deliverables needed to maximise your business success.
If you don’t have one written up – no worries. We can have a quick Zoom to look at where you are and where you need to be, and I can outline the process. Most importantly, are we a good fit?
Every client has unique needs. Discovery will establish the project requirements and enable me to build a bespoke cost estimate that matches your needs and budget. We are good to go once an offer is agreed upon and the payment deposit is made.

Research
Brand Essence – explore your inner brand.
At the heart of all successful premium branding is strategy – the inner brand. Any design NOT based on strategy is just guesswork and will fail. I need to know EVERYTHING about your business and your business landscape.
I will send a PDF questionnaire – just type in the answers and send it back, and I will start my market research. Generally, we will define the leading competitors and target audience – but we could also look at your Mission, Vision, Values, Purpose, Voice, and Positioning depending on the specific cost package. This is gold dust and will define the direction of the branding or graphic design project.

Design
A visual identity to articulate your inner brand to your audience.
The design concept stage can begin once the research and direction have been established. All my design work is based on solid creative concepts that tie in or emanate from the previous Inner Brand work. This is when the fun begins, and the brand comes to life. I usually design three presentations showcasing three logos, three colour palettes, three fonts, and three graphic ‘look and feel’ styles – all showcased over multiple photo-realistic mockups. This helps accurately illustrate the brand identity in a ‘real life’ context.

Deliver
Welcome to your new brand
You can choose preferred elements from all three presentations and up to 2 rounds of amends to guarantee the perfect outcome. With your delighted stamp of approval, the next stage is to create all the brand assets. All master logo versions are created in JPG, PNG, SVG, and EPS formats (suitable for print and web). A logo guide document with usage rules – including clear space rules, plus the brand colour values defined as Pantone, CMYK, RGB and HEX. And, of course, unrestricted ownership and usage rights of your new brand.

Roll out your new business brand across all audience platforms.
Express and extend your new brand across all business touchpoints. I am adept at crafting and extending consistent & cohesive brand communications, from print to digital. This differs with all customers. It could be a business card and letterhead. Or it could be a new Website, PowerPoint presentation, Brochures, Social Media or Advertising Templates, Trade Show Branding, Magazines, and Annual Reports; my 28-year design career covers all bases.
