Brand Identity Case Study–Workplace Culture Consultancy

Together is the first first dedicated Workplace Culture Consultancy in the Middle East. They provide a range of advisory and facilitation initiatives and programmes around Culture, Purpose and People.

I was approached by two Dubai friends the d’Abo sisters. Lucy and Camilla. Previously of Dabo & Co fame – one of my very first clients when I started Frank Brands in 2011. After selling their highly successful Events and PR agency a few years back, they were now excited to be gearing up for a new launch company and I was well chuffed to be trusted with their new brand baby.

The first task was brand naming. After my usual research, I suggested 18 names: Descriptive, Abstract, and Evocative. I proposed that TOGETHER is the perfect name for them based on activity and their brand values – and works across multiple layers of meaning. This was very well received.

The next stage was translating the new TOGETHER name and the into a Visual Identity that aligned with and expressed their Values, Essence, Purpose, Vision, and Mission.
I created my usual three brand concept presentations with 3 Logotype ID paths. The chosen concept shown here was based on “ speech marks. Why? Communication and dialogue are at the core of EVERYTHING they do.

The wordmark was customised for brand ownership. I wanted friendly curved typeforms with informal approachability so made them all lowercase. The result is a future-proof, iconic, striking, memorable logotype – that successfully differentiates Together from its competition.
